Education plays a vital role in the overall development of our society. The role of education is not limited to imparting theoretical knowledge only; it must transcend the task of just awarding degrees and certificates to the students. Mahatma Gandhi had once said, “By education, I mean all round drawing out of the best in child and man’s body, mind and spirit.” The ultimate goal of education is the discovery of the meaning of life and the fulfillment of life for all mankind, including our self-evolution. The quest for education is knowledge, humanity, culture, wisdom and evolution of our latent talents, but it is worthy to note that knowledge is not just given, it is better earned and similarly character is not just granted, it is better cultivated through an urge for higher values. Our college is a well-known multi-faculty lead institution of this Shekhawati region, offering a large variety of UG and PG courses in Science, Arts, Commerce, Management and Information Technology. All throughout its glorious history the college has ever produced achievers who have carved out niches for themselves and society through different professional fields. Good academics encompasses the entire gamut of activities that aim athe t comprehensive development of an individual. Other than the regular courses it includes social, cultural, sports co-curricularar and extra-curricular activities. They help to form the complete profile of a person and lead him to a meaningful and successful career. It is a matter of pride to state that during the last two sessions our students have secured top positions in the university merit despite handicaps and obstructions posed by COVID – 19. Such achievement is a clear testimony of the untiring efforts of our teaching faculty and the support staff, supplemented by superior infrastructural facilities and resources like well-equipped laboratories and a highly rich library.
We encourage our students to inculcate in themselves a sense of commitment toward nation-building and their personal development. We especially appeal to our fresh students to abide by the tradition of discipline and respect for seniors. Such values are a heritage of our college and we need to sustain rich values with all efforts I firmly believe that our college is much more than a learning place – an institution devoted to the ability of behavior and excellent values in the character of students so that they become a matter of pride for the nation.
