Run by the Anandilal Podar Trust, Seth Gyaniram Bansidhar Podar College, Nawalgarh is one of the premier educational institutions in the Shekhawati region & Best college in Rajasthan. Seth Gyaniram Bansidhar Podar College has inherited its unique legacy from great visionaries and philanthropists such as Mahatma Gandhi, Pt. Madan Mohan Malviya, Shri Jamnalal Bajaj, and Shri Anandilal Podar who played an instrumental role in the setting up the Anandilal Podar Trust. The Anandilal Podar Trust was established as Anandilal Podar Charitable Society in the year 1921 with Father of Nation, Mahatma Gandhi as one of the Founder Chairman-Trustee. The College came into existence as a Bhramacharya ashram in the year 1921 which was converted into a High School in 1930. The school was promoted as the first intermediate Institution in the Shekhawati region in 1 942. The present status of Seth Gyaniram Bansidhar Podar College came into existence with the starting of UG and PG courses in Commerce in 1946 and 1947, respectively.
