National Workshop

The two-day national workshop on Innovative ideas for an Eco-Friendly Environment was organized by the Department of Zoology at Podar College. College principal Dr. Satyendra Singh presided over the workshop. Renowned poet and industrialist Mr. Ghanshyam Khandelwal as a chief guest told about pollution and global warming. He boosted the morale of the students by reciting poetry during the session itself. In the session of the workshop, Dr. Lalit Kumar Gaur, Assistant Professor of the Physics Department, and Ms. Nidhi Joshi from the Mathematics Department discussed environmental thinking and crisis and their prevention. In the second session of the National Workshop, Professor Priyanka Bhamu Assistant Professor, Shri Radheshyam R. Morarka Government College, Nawalgarh, and Podar College Alumni did PPT on Eco-Friendly Environment. Prof. Bhamu said there is a continuous change in the ecology of the coastal areas, which we must stop through non-destructive development. On the second day of the workshop, a poster competition was organized in which students made posters on environmental and innovation themes. A total of 131 college students got registered for this national workshop on Innovative ideas for an Eco-Friendly Environment which was conducted both online and offline. At the end of the workshop, the coordinator Prof. Rakesh Kumar Jangid expressed gratitude to all the guests.
