NSS Camp

The third day of the seven-day special camp began with great enthusiasm organized under the National Service Scheme Unit I and II at Seth GB Podar College, run by The Anandilal Podar Trust. The chief guest was Principal Dr. Satyendra Singh and Vice Principal Dr. Vinod Kumar Saini was the special guest. HOD of Commerce, Dr. Sanjay Saini spoke about the importance of Food & Nutrition. Unit First Program Officer Prof. Rakesh Kumar Jangid welcomed the guests and presented the outline of the third day camp. He informed that products like ghee, milk, spices, oil-sugar, tea and sweets etc. are composed of adulterated ingredients and to end this problem, the volunteers of the national scheme can conduct awareness campaign in every house and should have thorough knowledge of the adulterated product as such a problems cannot be solved by only making laws product study and its awareness is also important. In the second session, Dr. Ravindra Goswami told about the food items and food habits, lifestyle changes in our daily life. Program Officer Unit II Prof. Shyama Didwaniya expressed gratitude to the guests and concluded the program with his word of encouragement for all the volunteers.
