Orientation Program

An orientation program was organized for newly admitted undergraduate and postgraduate students at Seth Gyaniram Bansidhar Podar College, run by The Anandilal Podar Trust, Nawalgarh. The program started with the garlanding of the statue of Maa Saraswathi by Dr. Rajendra Kumar, COO of Podar Trust, Principal Dr. Satyendra Singh, Vice Principal Dr. Vinod Kumar Saini. Principal Dr. Satyendra Singh welcomed the newly admitted students and informed about the activities to be organized in the college. Vice Principal Dr. Vinod Kumar Saini provided information about the functioning of the Disciplinary Committee and Academic Planning Committee. Similarly, Dr. Vikram Singh Jakhar provided information related to anti-ragging and university exams. Pro. Sandeep Jangid provided information related to various scholarships provided by Podar Trust and government schemes in the college. ANO Kamlesh Kumar provided information about the eligibility and various steps to take admission in NCC. Dr. Anil Sharma told about the entry process and importance of volunteers in the National Service Scheme. Pro. Suman Saini apprised the students about the functioning of Women Empowerment Cell. Addressing the students, Dr. Rajendra Kumar, COO of Podar Trust, said that the above committee and cell is the scale of quality education in Podar College, where along with studies, co-scholastic activities, sports provide opportunities to the students to move forward. Appealed to all the students to keep in touch with all the committee in-charges and move forward. Operation of the program was done by the Head of Department of Geography Prof. Shantilal Joshi.
