Women Empowerment
A lecture on women’s empowerment was organized under the joint auspices of the Alumni Association and Women’s Cell at Seth G.B. Podar College. The chief guest and speaker for the lecture was Dr. Priyanka Bhamu, an alumna of Podar College and an assistant professor at Rajkiya Mahavidyalaya, Nawalgarh. The program was presided over by Vice Principal Dr. Vinod Saini of Podar College.
The program commenced with the garlanding of the statue of Mother Saraswathi and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. Prof. Suman Saini, the Convenor and in-charge of the Women’s Cell, extended a warm welcome to Dr. Priyanka Bhamu by presenting her with a garland. Dr. Bhamu emphasized in her address that college students have the potential to achieve social empowerment through excellence in education. She stressed that the strength of our nation lies in the empowerment of women. Dr. Bhamu, who is an alumna of Podar College herself, expressed her joy at being among the students of the same college where she once studied. Vice Principal Dr. Vinod Saini honored Dr. Priyanka Bhamu by presenting her with a symbol of appreciation. In attendance were various women faculty members, including Prof. Mahima, Prof. Reena Saini, and Prof. Seema Saini, among others.
