Bachelor of Commerce
A Bachelor of Commerce, abbreviated as B.Com is an undergraduate degree in commerce and related subjects. The course is designed to provide students with a wide range of managerial skills and understanding in streams like finance, accounting, taxation and management.
During the three years B. Com degree, the aspirants will learn about the general business principles, and at the same time, study core commerce subjects such as finance, economics, accounting, actuarial studies and business management, etc.
After completion B. Com., students have the option to either pursue M.Com., CA or opt for jobs such as Tax Consultant, Stock Broker, Auditor, Lecturer, Insurance and consultant etc.

Eligibility: Bachelor of Commerce
The common eligibility criteria for B.Com admissions are as under below.
- Candidates must have completed an intermediate level of education or equivalent from a recognised board.
- The minimum 45% marks are required in 10+2.
- There is no specific stream requirement for this program, as such. But, candidates who have completed 10+2 with Commerce might get preference over other students.
Master of Commerce in ABST
M.Com. or Master of Commerce in ABST is a postgraduate course in the field of commerce that is particularly aimed for students who want to become an expert in different fields of banking and finance. M.Com. can only be pursued by graduate students from commerce background.
This course is of two years duration and is highly regarded and very well received in the industry. The course provides quality education to the students serving the needs of managerial cadre in business and industry. It also serves the purpose of research and teaching in business studies

Eligibility (ABST)
The Eligibility Criteria for M.Com (ABST) is as under
- Candidates with a valid B.Com or B.Com (Hons) degree, obtained from a recognized university or Institute are eligible.
- They must also ensure that they have secured a minimum aggregate score of 48% in the qualifying exam or 55% marks in ABST subject in graduation.
- Candidates belongs to other state they have secured a minimum aggregate score of 60% in the qualifying exam.
M. Com. EAFM
Masters of Commerce or M. Com. EAFM is a post graduate level course ideal for candidates who wish to make a career in banking financial services and insurance as well as accounting and commerce sectors. The two-year course delves deeper into the functioning of the economy, capital, revenue, trade, taxes, etc. taught in B.Com. Since M. Com. is a specialized area in itself, only those candidates who have pursued B.Com. can pursue it.
The course includes studies of Theories of the Firm, Managerial Theories, Behavioral Approaches, Growth Theories, Satisfying Theory, and Relevance of Profit Maximization in the Modern Context as well as Determination of Demand.
Similarly, Nature, Objectives and Scope, Financial Decision-Making and Types of Financial Decisions, Role of a Finance Manager in a Firm and Agency Problem, Risk-Return Framework for Financial Decision-Making, Nature and Kinds of Capital Budgeting Decisions, Techniques of Evaluating Capital Budgeting Decisions, Capital Budgeting Decisions Under Constraints and with Multiple Objectives using Mathematical Programming Models are also taught in the course.
After completing course, students can seek employment in the BFSI sector, opt for a teaching job or lecturer-ship or go for research. There are various job options for M.Com (EAFM) degree holder in the private as well as government sector. M.Com (Masters of Commerce) in Business Administration is a two-year full-time course offered in the field of Commerce.
M.Com. in Business Administration is the postgraduate course which deals with the study of organizing, planning related to the business field. The subjects generally taught under the M.Com Business Administration include the Business Environment, General Management, Human Resource Management, etc.
Upon completion of the postgraduate, candidates can further opt for Research or Ph.D.in M.Com Business Administration.
M.Com in Business Administration deals with the study of performance and management of various aspects of Business studies includes performing and managing business operations and implementing or planning to make an impactful decision.
