Admissions at Podar College
Begin your academic journey with Seth Gyaniram Bansidhar Podar College, affiliated to Pt. DDU Shekhawati University. Purchase the prospectus (₹500) at the cash counter and submit your filled form with required documents at the registration desk.
Documents Required
- Three self-addressed postcards
- Original mark sheet of qualifying exam with three photocopies
- Mark sheets of Parts I, II & III of Bachelor’s program (for PG admission)
- Two recent passport-size photographs
- Transfer certificate (for new entrants)
- Migration certificate (for candidates from other universities/boards)
- Secondary school certificate/mark sheet with date of birth (for new entrants)
- Certificates of participation in games, NCC, or cultural events (if any)
- SC/ST/OBC category certificate (if applicable)
Eligibility & Rules
The eligibility for admission to various courses is in accordance with the norms determined by Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Shekhawati University, Sikar and the admission rules published by the Commissioner of College Education, Government of Rajasthan, Jaipur.

Important Instructions
- Reservations and relaxations are subject to seat availability & government rules.
- Admission stands cancelled if fees are not paid by the notified date.
- Principal reserves the right to reject any application without assigning reason.
- Subjects once opted cannot normally be changed. One change allowed within 15 days on payment of ₹50.
- Classes with fewer than 10 students may be closed; fees refunded (except prospectus).
- Registration and identity card will be refunded only after producing a “No Dues” certificate.

Government & Management Scholarships
State/Central Government: Scholarships for wards of freedom fighters and soldiers, meritorious girls, SC/ST students studying outside Rajasthan, and need-cum-merit scholarships for first-class students (as per Government rules). Details are available at the college office.
College Management (UG Part-I):
- ₹1200 to students securing 75% or more in the qualifying examination
- ₹1200 to sisters of existing college students and to students of the BPL category
Conditions apply: ≥75% attendance, participation in college activities, satisfactory academic progress, and submission of applications in the prescribed form with mark-sheet copy. Only one scholarship can be availed at a time. Scholarships may be revoked if the student fails to appear in examinations.
