Plantation Campaign
A plantation program was organized under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Abhiyan” at Seth Gyaniram Bansidhar Podar College, run by The Anandilal Podar Trust, Nawalgarh. This campaign, dedicated to the protection and prosperity of the environment, saw students and staff members planting saplings in honor of their mothers. The “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Abhiyan” aims to increase oxygen levels, reduce the earth’s temperature, raise groundwater levels, and significantly contribute to pollution control.
On World Population Day, following the instructions of the Governor and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Shekhawati University, a tree plantation program was organized at Podar College under the concept of “one student, one tree.” On this occasion, the Principal of Podar College, Dr. Satyendra Singh, guided the planting of 492 saplings on the college campus by students and staff members.
Podar College’s Vice Principal, Dr. Vinod Kumar Saini, urged students and staff to continue this initiative. N.S.S. In-charge Prof. Ramesh Pareek had N.S.S. volunteers take the pledge to plant and protect the saplings. During the plantation drive, Prof. Chetan Dadhich, Dr. Vidyadhar Sharma, Prof. Shyama Didwania, Prof. Rachna, Prof. Ramesh Pareek, Dr. Bhupendra Singh Rathore, Prof. Krishna Kumar Jangid, Prof. Kavita Jangid, Prof. Suman Saini, Prof. Mahima Soni, Dr. Anil Sharma, Mr. Awadhesh Paliwal, and other academic and non-academic staff participated enthusiastically. They pledged to protect and promote the environment by making the campus of Podar College green.
