Vistar: Science Educational Fair
The Anandilal Podar Trust, Nawalgarh, successfully organized a grand three-day Science Exhibition & Educational Fair at Seth G.B. Podar College. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 3,648 students across 14 higher secondary schools, making it a milestone in fostering Scientific Curiosity and #Innovation.
The Science Fair was inaugurated by Padmashri Shri A.S. Kiran Kumar, Former ISRO Chairman, along with Mr. Vinit Goenka, Secretary of Center of Knowledge Sovereignty; Ms. Sumitra Goenka, member of Center of Knowledge Sovereignty; Mr. Rajiv Podar, Chairman of Podar Trust; and Dr. Vedica Podar, Trustee of Podar Trust. The dignitaries officially launched the event by cutting the ribbon and lighting the lamp before the statue of Maa Saraswati, symbolizing Knowledge and Enlightenment. Mr. Rajiv Podar warmly welcomed all the esteemed guests, expressing his gratitude for their presence and highlighting the Podar Trust’s commitment to STEM Education and scientific development. He particularly acknowledged Shri Kiran Kumar’s contributions to hashtag#Chandrayaan-1 and Mars Orbiter Mission, emphasizing his role as an Inspiration for the students and teachers of Podar Institutions. Special appreciation was also extended to Mr. Vinit Goenka and Ms. Sumitra Goenka for their continuous support in the Holistic Development of students.
The Science Exhibition provided a platform for students to showcase their innovations, with models ranging from AI, Robotics, Renewable Energy to Space Technology and Environmental Sustainability. Shri Kiran Kumar praised the Podar Trust for its 100+ years of dedication to Quality Education and emphasized that science exhibitions serve as a stepping stone for young minds to explore Groundbreaking Technologies.
In an engaging session at Dr. Ramnath A. Podar Auditorium, Shri Kiran Kumar and other dignitaries interacted with students, discussing their projects and addressing queries related to Science, Technology, and Innovation. Dr. Vedica Podar commended the students and educators for their dedication to fostering scientific inquiry and acknowledged their hard work in making the event a success.
