Faculty Development Programme
A Faculty Development Programme on NAAC Criteria was organised to strengthen understanding of quality assurance, documentation and academic practices.
A detailed session on NAAC Criterion I – Curricular Aspects was delivered by Prof. Ambesh Kumar, Department of Chemistry, covering key areas including curriculum design, development, implementation, enrichment and continuous improvement.
The session also focused on systematic maintenance of Key Evidence and prescribed Templates, CO–PO/PSO Mapping, outcome attainment, corrective measures and the significance of Action Taken Reports (ATR) in documenting feedback, academic reviews, recommendations and identified gaps.
Participants were also familiarised with the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC), credit accumulation and transfer, academic flexibility, as well as Curriculum Enrichment and Extended Curricular Engagements, including value-added courses, skill development, projects, internships, community participation, awareness programmes and extension activities.
The programme provided valuable insights into strengthening academic quality, documentation practices and continuous institutional improvement.
