Run of Hope: A Celebration of Spirit, Strength & Community
Marking the 105th glorious year of the Anandilal Podar Trust, the 3rd Podar Mini Marathon transformed the streets of Nawalgarh into a vibrant symbol of unity, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship.
With 700+ participants, this year’s Run of Hope stood as a powerful reminder of the importance of physical fitness, mental well-being, and collective positivity. The marathon was flagged off by esteemed dignitaries, including C.I. Mr. Ajay Singh, Advocate Mr. Shrikant Murarka, Mr. Birbal Singh Godara, Mr. Gajanan Saini, Prof. M.C. Malu, Mr. Vikash Pasricha, and Dr. Satyendra Singh, along with principals from Podar institutions, reinforcing the Trust’s commitment to social and educational impact.
Dr. Vedica Podar, Trustee and founder of Kangaroo Minds, shared that the event is a tribute to the values and vision of Late Shri Kantikumar R. Podar, while also emphasizing that such initiatives play a vital role in promoting mental health and everyday well-being, encouraging individuals to adopt healthier and more balanced lifestyles.
The marathon was thoughtfully organized across three age categories, 10–17 years, 18–45 years, and 45+ years—ensuring inclusive participation across generations. Outstanding performers in both men’s and women’s categories were honored with cash prizes along with mementos and certificates. Among the winners, Abhishek Kumar and Krinjan excelled in the 10–17 age group, Rahul Kataria and Tina led the 18–45 category, while Omprakash Kansujia and Rajshree Sharma emerged victorious in the 45+ group.
The event was further elevated by the remarkable spirit of 94-year-old Mr. Gularam Sunda and divyang participant Mr. Dharmveer Singh, whose participation inspired everyone present and beautifully demonstrated that determination knows no age or limitation.
Mr. Rajiv Podar, Chairman of the Podar Trust, emphasized that the marathon is not merely a race, but a movement aimed at fostering health, positivity, and hope within society. Mr. M.D. Shanbhag, Executive Director, commended the event for its discipline and grandeur, reflecting the Trust’s strong organizational values.
This marathon wasn’t just about finishing; it was about moving forward together as a stronger, healthier society.
