“Every problem has a solution. You are never alone.”

The Anandilal Podar Trust, Nawalgarh, in collaboration with Kangaroo Minds, organised a Suicide Prevention Awareness Rally on September 18, 2026, as part of Suicide Prevention Month.

Flagged off by Nawalgarh Sub-Divisional Officer Ms. Pranjal Kanwar, the rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from 600+ students representing Podar Educational Institutions, including Podar College, Kantikumar R. Podar ITI, Podar Teacher Training College, GPS Nawalgarh, GPS Beri, and Panabai Ramnath Podar Senior Secondary School.

NCC cadets and NSS volunteers also actively participated, spreading powerful messages of hope, empathy, and support through posters, and charts.

Speak up. Ask for help.

You don’t have to face challenges alone.

Seeking help is a sign of courage.

Suicide is not a solution. Support and timely intervention can make a difference.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Vedica Podar, Founder of Kangaroo Minds and Hon’ble Trustee of The Anandilal Podar Trust, highlighted that suicide prevention is not just a campaign but a collective responsibility. She encouraged everyone to recognise changes in the behaviour of people around them, listen with empathy, and help those experiencing emotional distress.

Hon’ble Chairman Mr. Rajiv K. Podar emphasised that suicide prevention begins with our own behaviour and that creating a compassionate environment where people can speak openly about their struggles is essential.

The rally reinforced an important message for our community:
